RAMA DEGREE COLLEGE

    A Graduate College affiliated to the University of Lucknow, Lucknow, was founded on the 23rd day of January, 2004 with in the premises of large campus spread over an area of 5 acres in Chinhat near Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.

      The College is a self-financing and offers four first degree level courses: B.Ed., B.B.A., B.Com & B.A.. The College has adequate infrastructure and laboratories with latest equipments.

        Upholding the ideology of promoting excellence the college has always worked towards building a kind of social ethos in its class-rooms. To help students broaden their social, emotional and mental horizons, to develop broad perspectives and global views and become a socially useful and productive member of a developing economy of the country the college provides every possible support.

       

ABOUT THE SEMINAR

        Education is a mirror of society. Education plays a vital role in progress of society. Since ancient time Indian philosophers and educationists have realized the importance of quality education. In this era the privatization, Liberalization & globalization the importance of quality education has been felt strongly. To keep pace with incessant changes at the global level, quality education is must. Although educationists and Govt. are trying to put their best foot forward but there appears many hindrances, on the touchstone of reality, in ensuring quality education.

        Article XV of Section 1 of the Indian Constitution emphasizes that state should promote and provide quality education at all level to the citizens. Thus every aware institute, teacher, student, researcher and other stakeholders should join hands to overcome hindrances coming in your way.

        Rama Degree College, Lucknow, an esteemed education imparting institution, has taken a step forward in this direction and decided to organize a One Day National Seminar on "Quality in Higher Education- Hindrances and Measures to Overcome those" with the following sub-themes:

i)     Hindrances in effective classroom teaching and measure to overcome those.

ii)    Hindrances related to teachers and measures to overcome those.

iii)   Hindrances related to students and measures to overcome those.

iv)   Hindrances related to curriculum and measures to overcome those.

v)    Hindrances related to effective use of technology and measures to overcome those.

vi)   Hindrance related to Government Systems and measures to overcome those.

vii)  Hindrances related to rules and regulations regarding Education, Appointments of Teacher and Service Conditions and measures to overcome those.

viii)  Hindrances related to the management of the institution and measures to overcome those.

ix)   Hindrances related to Miscellaneous Aspects and measures to overcome those.

CALL FOR PAPERS

    The seminar is being organized taking into considerations interdisciplinary approach therefore research papers, theoretical /empirical articles are invited from different disciplines i.e. Science, Arts, Commerce , Management, Engineering, Medical etc.

    Those desirous of presenting papers in seminar should send in there research papers/articles, duly typed (Hindi/English) on A4 size paper in maximum 10 pages along with abstract in 300 words, so as to reach the organizing secretaries latest by 15/12/2010. Paper & Abstract should be sent in Soft Copy & Hard Copy and also send through e-mail.

1.    Selected Research papers will be published in Registered International Journal/National Journal and selected articles will be published in National Journal. Subscription /Publication Charges will be borne by the candidate himself. (Send Prior consent of paying the Subscription/Publication Charges if your paper gets selected. these charges will be deposited in cash on the spot).

2.    Accommodation facility will be provided on the expenses of the candidate himself, that too on the request made at least 9 days before the date of seminar i.e. upto 10/12/2010.

HOW TO REACH COLLEGE

    Conveyance facility is available from Lucknow Railway Station Bus & Auto service upto Chinhat Tiraha. From Chinhat Tiraha Conveyance to the college will be provided free of cost to all the participants.
